On July 13, the RA NA Vice President Arpine Hovhannisyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia Tareq Ebrahim Mohamed Maaty, who visited the parliament on the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The sides have highlighted the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation which promotes the further deepening of the relations of the two states. Issues regarding the activation of the parliamentarians’ mutual visits and the enlivening of the ties in different spheres were discussed.

The interlocutors expressed conviction that the friendship of the two countries and peoples would continue to develop and strengthen.

Arpine Hovhannisyan especially underlined the Ambassador’s personal contribution and efforts in enriching the agenda of bilateral relations and wished him success in his further activities.
